We’re pleased to let you know that the lovely Pete Green has kindly agreed to join us for our Seven hills launch night on Thursday 10 September.
You may know Pete as singer and guitarist in Sheffield indiepop legends The Sweet Nothings. He also does his own solo thing and it’s under this guise that he’ll be performing at the Rutland Arms.
Pete has been a good friend to Robberie over the years. He was part of the team that put us on at one of our first proper gigs, Sparkle-coustic Sunday, and has offered loads of support since then – usually over a pint in our work local The University Arms.
A couple of years ago Pete released his wonderful solo record The Glass Delusion. At the launch he’ll playing songs for us and also reading some of his poetry which always sounds so good in a intimate setting like upstairs at the Rutland.
As well as Pete (and us) performing, you can expect goody bags, fairy lights, CAKE and more, so please come down and join us for what we hope will be a really special night.
