A bit of news about our first live show of 2015: on Friday 23 January we are playing at The Leadmill in Sheffield!
We’re appearing as one of the support bands for the excellent Seven Tors alongside Sheffield favourites Pocket Satellite and Lomas.
We’ve all been going to The Leadmill over the last 20 years, from watching our first-ever gigs in the early 90s to midweek 60s/70s/80s discos – Beat Club and La Videotech/Planet Earth, anyone? – so performing at such an iconic venue will be pretty special for us. It will also no doubt be a little terrifying, as it’ll also be the biggest gig we’ve played.
We’d obviously love for as many familiar faces to be there as possible. Tickets are just a fiver in advance, and if you do think you might come, it would help us massively if you could buy your ticket directly from Robin, Val or Nik prior to the show. Obviously they make excellent Christmas presents, are cheap to post and fit perfectly in most Christmas card envelopes! You can get in touch with us here.
Apparently the venue are making efforts to put on more local bands and this is the first of these nights, so we’re very happy to be involved.
